Nashville, TN —Feb 6, 2025 — Nashville-based indie rock trio Dallas Ugly (Eli Broxham, Libby Weitnauer, and Owen Burton) are thrilled to announce the release of their debut single, “Circumstances”, from their highly anticipated sophomore album See Me Now. With three distinctive voices woven together over a decade of friendship, the band’s unique blend of wry observation, personal reflection, and melancholic resonance is on full display in this track.
Lead singer, co-writer, multi-instrumentalist Libby Weitnauer describes the song as “about dreaming up a future with someone with whom a future could never really be possible or even right, but you still find something in yourself through the fantasy.” The trio leveled up further when they began collaborating with Grammy-winning producer and engineer Justin Francis, adding a new layer of depth and polish to their already dynamic sound. “Circumstances” marks a bold step forward for Dallas Ugly, as they continue to push the boundaries of their sound.
