Mega Circuit  single by  Japanese Breakfast. This is a powerful alt country song  by Michelle Zauner, known as Japanese Breakfast.  No Goin’ Back, single by Lurleen Ladd.  No tricks, no swoops or echoes or production gimmicks.  You get what you see – a women telling a story of determination, with a slow country-like beat behind her.  Let the music tap your feet while your brain absorbs the lyrics.  Stream on Spotify.

Baby, You’ve Got What It Takes, single by Benny Turner  and Maria Muldaur . These two know how to do the blues with a twinkle as they deliver this 1960’s song with verve and grins and real sparks between them.  A lot of fun.  Stream, on major platforms.

Sweet Southern Sounds, single by Samantha Fish.  The current Queen of Blues hits it out of the park, as she often does, with this down and dirty but measured blues rocker punctuated by her flaming guitar riffs.  She puts a nice unearthly curl into her voice which makes it especially enjoyable.  Stream on all major platforms.
