February 21, 2025 – Rising alt/pop storyteller Grenon returns with her first single of the year and one of her most personal offerings yet with today’s release of “Snow for a Day.”
Leaning into the unfiltered lyrical authenticity that has defined the New Hampshire hailed singer since day one, the track is an ode to the disorienting process of moving forward after heartbreak as she sings, “i wanna free fall for someone without falling apart or the imminent consequences / cause when you’re face first on the ground / it’s like too many rounds / where you say you’ll never do that again.” Intertwining vulnerable lyricism and an energetic driving rhythm into a contradictory bow, the song is a mirror reflection of Grenon’s life when it was written.
About the new release, Grenon says, “I’ve had a lot of uncomfortable, but necessary growing pains since the pandemic, especially in this past year. ‘Snow For A Day’ began last January on the drive home while I was in the thick of it and actually did wake up on a friend’s couch. It was also f*king freezing!” Shortly thereafter, Grenon brought the song into a writing session with Wild Love’s Brandon Gorman and produced it with Phil Barnes (Sydney Sierota, Taylor Acorn, KNOX, Smallpools).
“Snow for a Day” arrives on the heels of fall single “Toxic Relationship,” a candid confession about her relationship with herself and self-love. The two tracks introduce Grenon’s debut EP set to release later this year.

About Grenon:
A songwriter with a metallic Sharpie, Grenon hits all the pressure points. Fronted mononymously by her last name, the deeply candid Nashville newcomer has never been afraid of pushing the envelope, from moving 1000 miles away from her hometown alone at 18 to learning how to play guitar busking on the streets in Boston. Giving a voice to unfiltered thoughts and 2am notes app confessionals, Grenon often narrates her own life, from her Imaginary Friends to her on-again-off-again Toxic Relationship with herself.
The genre-fracturing singer-songwriter has been seen on iconic stages from the Bluebird Cafe to the Rock Roll Hall of Fame, while supporting acts such as Scotty McCreery, LOCASH, and Chase Bryant and being awarded Rock Act of the Year in the 2021 New England Music Awards.
