| Finnish artists RotterDamn! and Marilii met several times at music events and soundchecks. They had an idea that one day they could make some music together. The plan became concrete when RotterDamn! asked Marilii to sing a duet with him on the song Dancing Shoes. The Dancing Shoes single is released by Secret Entertainment and the music video for the track is made by Ari Kuoppa-aho. As a recording artist my first album Siivilläin lennän was released in year 2000. 15 years later my music sounded like Marilii again and I released a singer & songwriter album Omat siivet kantaa. I’ve been involved in several different ensembles and productions. I’ve also worked as a background singer, so you can find my voice on many recordings. I think genre is just an unnecessary word. I just love music and I love singing.”, comments Marilii who is known from Finnish mega hit ‘Nautin elämästä’ with almost 10 million streams only on Spotify. RotterDamn! lives his post-rock life, making pop music with synths and sometimes with big orchestral sounds. According to listeners, his music is influences by Duran Duran, Daft Punk and Depeche Mode. “I toured for years as a guitarist for rock bands until I had a motorcycle accident. As a result, my hand had to be operated on three times, followed by challenges in playing the guitar. The break was continued by covid-19. This life change caused my interest in synthesizers.
