Brooklyn-based alt rock band Everstill have released WHAT IS ENOUGH, a five-song EP that wrestles with themes like death, existentialism, and, the songwriter’s gift that keeps on giving: love. The group draws from hard rock, grunge, dream pop, indie and prog rock. Click Roll Boom called the first single off the EP, Red, “dreamy and reflective, yet grounded and sincere.” The group followed that track with Front Row Seat. “From the moment the chunky, assertive guitar riff kicks in, you’re strapped in for a sonic rollercoaster that mirrors the very heart of the lyrical narrative,” wrote Tuned Loud Hit Radio.
WHAT IS ENOUGH comes four years after the release of Longing, the debut album by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sara Aridi (vocals, guitar, bass, keys). Upon its release in 2021, the singles In Your Dreams and Waiting landed coverage on platforms in North America and the U.K. In 2023, Aridi teamed up with guitarist Adel Bagli, drummer Britton Matthews and bassist Pierce Krauland. Since then the group has been performing across New York City, including Arlene’s Grocery, The Bowery Electric, Bar Freda, Pete’s Candy Store, Hart Bar, Lucky 13 Saloon and more. The bassist Sarah Klein joined the group in 2024, and will be onstage with them at Pianos on July 23. More shows will be announced soon.
