Allied Artists has added a major new force to its roster: European rapper, dancer, and producer Michel Assale, who is officially relocating his talents to the United States to produce artists for international release.

Assale isn’t some newcomer with buzz—he’s a trailblazer. Born in Syria, raised in Lebanon, and shaped musically in Sweden, he first broke out as half of the duo W & M (Walter & Michel). Their charting tracks, national radio spots, and international tours made them a fixture in Sweden’s music scene. Along the way, Assale worked with none other than the late Denniz Pop, the visionary producer who launched Ace of Base and Dr. Alban into global stardom. That collaboration cemented Assale’s reputation as one of Europe’s most dynamic multi-hyphenate artists.
Over four decades, Assale has shifted from being the electrifying guy on stage to the mastermind behind it—mentoring rising talent and producing projects that fuse global sounds with sharp, modern urban edges. His ability to cross cultures while keeping a pulse on what moves listeners has made him a sought-after producer across Europe.
Now he’s bringing that same energy to the U.S. with Allied Artists.
“Michel Assale’s track record speaks for itself,” said Kim Richards of Allied Artists, going on to note that “he’s got decades of international hits and collaborations under his belt, and we’re thrilled he’s joining our team to shape the next wave of global talent.”

For Assale, this new chapter is about scale and connection. Saying “music has always been about building bridges. I’m excited to work with Allied Artists here in the U.S. to create artists who can reach audiences everywhere.”
This partnership doesn’t just expand Allied Artists’ global footprint—it’s a statement. The label is doubling down on its mission to build world-class careers and craft music that travels as far as the beat will carry it.
