SoFlo brothers Tacboy and Sharkeyes, alongside guitarist Monsie, form the ET Boys. They started creating music together less than five years ago. Wake Up! Music quickly signed them. This label focuses on artists making Nu music. Since then, the trio has shared their unique “ET Style” with the world.
They released their first single, “Sober,” in June 2021. The release featured a video by Hollywood filmmaker Domonick Giorgianni. This track grabbed the attention of industry professionals. Four more releases followed within six months. This productivity set the stage for their current success.
Defining the “ET Style”

You cannot place this band in a single box. Critics describe them as new pop, melodic rap, alternative, and hip-hop. Their background influences include rock, spoken word, Indian, and classical music. The band coined the term “ET Style” to describe this blend.
Each member brings a distinct skill set:
- Tacboy: The frontman acts as singer and lyricist. His delivery channels the energy of icons like Jim Morrison.
- Sharkeyes: He serves as composer, drummer, and synth player. His work draws comparisons to Ray Manzarek.
- Monsie: The guitarist adds complex flavor and creative writing to the mix.
Industry Recognition and Collaboration
Excellence surrounds the ET Boys. They collaborate with high-level professionals to shape their sound and image. This team includes renowned photographer Mark Maryanovich and the incredibly talented young artist @dunibunni, who creates all their graphics and lyric videos.
On the production side, they work with Grammy Award winners Ken Lewis and Drew Correa. Platinum Award winner David Gnozzi also contributes to their distinct sound. Recently, promoter Tavaron Marshall joined the team, expanding their reach to new listeners in the hip-hop arena.
A Record-Breaking 2025
