Blues Man Ernie Johnson is determined to make a difference with his new song “Reach out & Help Somebody”.

Ernie Johnson (born in Winnsboro, LA) was a respected Southern soul-blues singer and bandleader based in Dallas, known for hits like “Party Time” and “Cold This Winter”. Influenced by Bobby “Blue” Bland, he recorded for labels like Ronn Records and Malaco/Waldoxy, releasing albums such as It’s Party Time (1993) and In the Mood (1995). He was active from the late 1960s through the 2000s.

Now, he has decided to make his voice heard again with his rendition of Gospel Singer Otis Clay’s “If I could Reach Out and Help Somebody”. Ernie Johnson decided to cover this song due to the unrest that is happening in the U.S and around the world. Please check out his video below and maybe it will allow us all to want to Help Somebody.
