Black Keys, he Third Mind,, Chika Di, JNoa and more. This week we do rap/hip hop/ regional Mexican, alt pop and electronica/dream pop. Some new, some you know well.
I spent some time listening carefully to the 100+ songs this week and found the most beguiling was the renowned Lupita Infanate’s new release “Seguimos O No?” Followed by The Cocktail Slippers, Rhinnnon Rodriguez, Esteman & Daniela Spalla and a few others. Am eclectic mix this week.
The 118 songs submitted this week had some real gems. Kim Deals new album, Nancy Sanchez’s coming home song, and some heavy death metal from Judas Priestess and Militia Vox. Plus Meovv from Korea and ArabLab from Mexico
A wide range this week from 150 songs and vids and albums. From American pure pop, to fun Mexican, to dreamy tropical, to drivn’ blues rock.
All over the map this week. A Mexicana mariachi crooner, acid blues rock, classic R&B soul updated, and two icons of he 60’s.
124 songs and albums this week including a Mother’s Day bonus song and a fearless K-Pop number -Spanish, English and Korean. Wow.
Some old, like Stephen Stills and POE, and some new like Ivonne Galaz and Irene Dias, but all worthy of this week’s picks
