THINGS GET WEIRD with THE BURNT TAPES

Plus Rebellion Fest, Evil Hoof Fest and rumors of a Scotland tour.
Our heart-wrenching, gruff-punk buddies in The Burnt Tapes have just dropped a new video for their killer track ‘THINGS GET WEIRD’, taken from their acclaimed 2017 EP ‘Alterations’. The video was shot with Matt Carson (creator of Darko’s ‘Hireath‘ video) who has delivered another smasher for your viewing pleasure.
The Burnt Tapes are a melodic punk rock band based in London, UK. The band have known each other since they were teenagers, having grown up together in Athens, Greece before settling in London and forming the band in 2014. Their gruff, mid-western influenced ‘regret-punk’ sound has drawn comparisons to bands like Gnarwolves and The Lawrence Arms.

The Burnt Tapes released their first EP, ‘Alterations’, in 2017 via Lockjaw Records (UK CD/digital exclusive) and Umlaut Records (vinyl) with support from Cannonball Records (Greece). In the last four years have played over 150 shows across the UK and Europe, supporting bands like Red City Radio, Timeshares, GBH, The Murderburgers, MakeWar and The Bombpops, plus appearing at festivals like Manchester Punk Festival (UK), Book Yer Ane Fest (Scotland) and El Topo Goes Loco (Belgium) to name a few. The four-piece are currently working on their first full length album, due for release late in 2018
