Los Angeles, CA – Ahead of the mid-term election, SoundsGood Records is very pleased to announce that the Take America Back: The Fight Oligarchy Album will be released on February 26, 2027. Album proceeds will directly support the fight against corruption and corporate influence in our democracy, donated to nonprofits working to keep government accountable to people, not billionaires.

Featuring both artists that participated in the Fighting Oligarchy Tour and those sympathetic to the cause, the record will be available in cd, vinyl, and digital formats but will not be streaming. The nineteen-track compilation includes released, unreleased, and original tracks.
“Carole King, Maggie Rogers, Neil Young, Steve Earle, are just a few of the artists on this record who’ve spent their careers refusing to look away and lent their songs to the fight for our democracy when we need most,” says SoundsGood Records co-founder Caleb Wilson. “We purposely made this album something you hold on to, which captures the moment we find ourselves in. A record, in every sense of the word.”
Regarding the project and her appearance at the Fighting Oligarchy Tour stop in Los Angeles, Rogers says “I’ve always believed in the power of music to bring people together. These recordings represent the voices of many who came together on that bright and beautiful day in April to reinforce our right to a more just and equitable future.”
The album was mixed and sequenced by George Drabing Hicks and mastered by two-time Grammy-nominated multi-platinum engineer Ryan Schwabe. The artwork was created by American contemporary concert and pop artist, Kii Arens.
“Creating art for a cause like this is the very least I can do” explains Arens. “I’ve always believed art should do more than decorate walls. It should open eyes, stir hearts, and inspire change. I’ll continue to stand behind the fight against oligarchy, and behind everyone who believes compassion is not a luxury but a responsibility. Art is my voice, and I intend to keep using it.”
