When a Band can never Escape The Fate

New energy, new song list, and new skin, Live Craig Mabbit(lead vocalist) seemed relaxed and somewhat apathetic with the songs of old, but with the release of their new album Hate Me, he was rejuvenated and back in action. With a track list of songs that were entirely of his versions, Escape the Fate, the band, was nothing short of rock star material in every sense of the word and fashion.

With the history of Ronnie and the burying of the hatchet comes the end of old Escape the Fate and the newly dominated hard rock theme we’ve come to expect from Vegas bands without the makeup. Strong metal undertones, slight to almost heavy breakdowns and catchy hooks bring in the new albums heat with songs like Remember Every Heartbreak, Live for Today, and Alive. The album certainly fits in with the strong discography of the past, although not new and as adventurous as some bands have tried, they still stand their ground as one of today’s staple in the genre and are still going strong with no signs of slowing.

You’ll find nothing but the best of Mabbits vocal ability and the bands metal core beginnings, even as you find yourself in the small or large halls they play, live they are just as good if not better live vs. studio. My personal favorite Get up, Get out, shows just how prominent the bands style has solidified itself among some of the best in their class.
