BIG WORDS’ “TTYDTM” OFFERS A POETIC MOSAIC OF MODISH FUNK

The band brings forth a certain je ne sais quoi to the song that is sure to seduce listeners from varying age and demographics and its ability to capture universal experiences and combine it with a modish funk bassline makes this an early contender for sleeper hit of the spring season. Friends since their teens and describing themselves as “two lonely boys lost on the moon,” Will and Kieren create scruffy soul with emotionally honest lyrics that resonate long after the final chords have faded, drawing inspiration from an array of musical influences as diverse as Coldplay, Amy Winehouse, 50 Cent, and both of the best Franks: Sinatra and Ocean.
