I know you’re on the edge of your stools so I won’t delay a moment longer in telling you all about it. Yes, I discovered My Brightest Diamond yesterday on Radio 4’s Loose Ends show, where she sang this live. She said that she wrote it as a lullaby for her son which, I found, changed the whole sensation of the song.
