The Doggerels – Miss Spiritual Tramp 1947

Side A $20 Bill / Help Me
Side B Lil’ Shuffle / Buck / Time Spent

The Doggerels – Miss Spiritual Tramp 1947 is a hypnotic and trippy EP, strong lyrics and street language, no hidden meanings here, vibrant and edgy. The band is from Long Beach California, which is probably why I hear a little bit of surf punk and rockabilly in their sound, a grass roots sort of band with a great following and is easy to find on the web.

This EP in Vinyl form is rare, and unless you are really lucky you may not find one in your local record store, but it is still available through the label and the bands sites –http://thedoggerels.com and http://www.facebook.com/thedoggerels. If you want to you can listen to The Doggerels at http://thedoggerels.bandcamp.com, I think you will be energized by their cavalier ambiance.
