Music’s Newest Fem-Fetals Make The International Music Scene That Much More Beautiful to Behold. – IndiePulse Music
Four-piece all female rock outfit The Nyx have recently released their self-titled debut EP which is available now via all major media providers. Packed full of energy and an amalgamation of genres, the women create music with a purpose.
Their self-titled four track EP takes elements of grunge, soul and rock and pairs it with the unique vocals of Becky and Simone in order to deliver a punchy and distinctive sound that encompasses the personality of each member.
Making their mark in the London music scene and supporting well established acts such as The Subways, the foursome create music with a purpose, with the aim to change perceptions of women in the music industry and redefine what it means to be a girl in a band. Throughout the EP, electrifying guitar riffs influenced by Foo Fighters offer a gritty rock edge to the otherwise soulful and melodic bass and vocals which draw inspiration from Skunk Anansie.
The Nyx are no strangers to the live music scene and are set to perform on 29th June at Black Heart in Camden, followed by more unannounced dates throughout the remainder of the year. More information about the band and their upcoming live dates can be found on their social media pages.
