Self-Proclaimed Groovalutionary ellee ven In Studio with Famed Percussionist Terry Santiel, and the Regiment Horns Super Trio, To Release New Singles

Award-winning Hot Sauce Records recording artist and self-proclaimed “Groovalutionary” ellee ven has been in the studio laying tracks for her next set of releases, working with stalwart percussionist and producer Terry Santiel, a founding member of hit-making R&B/Soul group Rose Royce, who’s invited the Regiment Horns into the mix. Both Santiel and the Regiment Horns have recently worked with mega-hit-maker Justin Timberlake; the Regiment Horns have recorded with Jay-Z, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, among others. Also in the fold is Grammy-Winning L.V. from Gangsta’s Paradise, singing on a remix of ven’s “All Of Me.” Grammy Award-winning engineer Reggie Dozier is mixing the collection.

Earlier in the year ven released soulful video “Sun Up,” which sherecorded with longtime collaborator, L.A.-based rapper Prodéje. The Los Angeles Beat raved, “(Sun Up has) a catchy melody and is a mesmerizing video…ellee ven shows her creativity and innovation in her music and videos again. A welcome change from the ordinary on the Contemporary Music scene.” LA Music Critic Bob Legget wrote, “Groovetonic music makes you move, and ellee ven is the Mistress and Creator of this genre. Check out her latest video ‘Sun Up,’ featuring rapper Prodéje. This should help you get over the Monday blues.”

ellee ven’s visual content is expansive. One of her other recent videos, “Underwater” is set to a mesmerizing dance-groove beat, with black-and-white, sensual imagery throughout. Other videos by ven include: “You Me Us Oui“; “All Of Me” (featuring Prodéje); and “Tightrope.” ellee ven was awarded Best Electro-Pop Artist at the Los Angeles Music Awards and in 2007 “You Can Buy Me” won “Best Video” at the South Bay (Calif.) Music Awards.

When ellee ven is not traveling making music, she’s devoting her time to philanthropic efforts via her event Give Into The Groove and her community art installation The Virtual Quilt.
