THE 2018 NAMM SHOW EVENTS AND MEDIA PREVIEW DAY DETAILS AT ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER 2018 WINTER NAMM SHOW -JANUARY 24th – 28th, 2018

The NAMM Show – the global crossroads of the music products, pro audio and sound, and event technology industries, presented by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM).

A “Press Only” Preview Showcase will be held Wednesday, January 24th – NAMM Show Media Preview Day by invitation-only. Get credentials before The NAMM Show opens; preview new musical instruments and technology releases. IndiePulse Music Magazine has been covering NAMM events for the past 6 years, and this year we look forward to new and innovative technologies in music performance and recording to report to our readers in the industry and in the know.

The NAMM Show – Business leaders, musicians, celebrities and media from around the world and over 500 Education Panels & Sessions from NAMM U and NAMM education partnersA3E, AES, TEC Tracks, The Pro Production Sessions, Dante Training and Certification.

Highlights to also include artist-related panels: Eagles of Death Metal’s Jesse Hughes; Concert producer Kevin Lyman of Warped Tour Fame; Tom Petty Crew Reunion Panel; Grammy Award-winning engineer, mixer and producer Andrew Scheps; Birth of a Record: Jackson Browne’s 1977 “Running on Empty.”

Whereas The NAMM Show is primarily an Invitation Only event, not open to the public, the grounds around the convention center, the plaza and the hotels participating will be all day nonstop action with concerts and live musical performance, as well as The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus and other Public open events.

The NAMM Yamaha Grand Plaza Stage Performances – All performances begin at 6PM, Grand Plaza Stage located between Hilton / Marriott hotels will be the place to see the following artists live in open air performances. OK Go is scheduled to perform Thursday January 25^th, additional performers and artists to-be-announced for Daily events and for Friday January 26^th. The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus Presents the 2018 “Imagine Party” featuring Award Winning Performer Andy Grammer on Saturday January 27^th.

Friday, January 26^th also marks the 2018 She Rocks Awards, as part of NAMM events, honoring women for contributions and leadership within the music industry, including Melissa Etheridge, Pat Benatar, B52’s Kate Pierson & Cindy Wilson.  Other awards ceremonies will be the Parnelli Awards – The Industry’s Highest Honor for Live Event Professionals – Tickets available here.

On Saturday, January 27^th there will be the Grand Rally for Music Education, presented by The NAMM Foundation to honor music education champions and advocates. Event will be featuring FORTE, Vanessa Carlton, Bernie Williams and the Manhattan School of Music Electronic Jazz Ensemble.

The NAMM TEC AWARDS,  Hosted by Comedian Demetri Martin –Les Paul Innovation Award to Jackson Browne – Hall of Fame to The Section, and the best of winners in professional audio and sound production excellence.
