Single Review: Kyle Motsinger: “Love On Each Other” by Addison Coleman
There certainly is a lot of heart in this new single by recording artist Kyle Motsinger. The track is named “Love on Each Other.” It comes at a good time while the world’s climate is in an uproar. It has one of those messages often conveyed in the 60’s when hippies were relevant. It reminds me of “Get Together” by The Youngbloods, or “Where Have All the Flowers Gone” by Joan Baez..
In any case there is no harm in having an anthem like “Love On Each Other.” It’s a positive song with smart lyrics and a cool hook. It has a disco vibe and pop attitude. I feel like Motsinger really believed in the lyrics and the sentiment of the song when he wrote it, which makes it more meaningful and more important to the world. Motsinger entitled his song after a Facebook post by a friend. His voice is strong, his musicality vibrant, and his inspiration authentic.
The song will be on his Sophomore album that will be released this winter. From his own words, “I hope everyone takes away from the song that we have the power to change the world if open our hearts and “Love on Each Other!’
Motsinger is based in New York and writes theatrical pop/rock music. His debut album called Far Away, was released in 2017. His song “Dark Shadows”, based on the 60’s gothic soap opera developed a cult following. It was screened at the Dark Shadow festival in LA. His new single should also gain a huge following as it meets the anthemic criteria.
