IndiePulse Interviews: Three Sides about their latest track “She Don’t Mean To”.

With a passion for psychedelic surf rock and funky disco, Three Sides delivers a unique blend of soundscape and songwriting. Four friends decided to follow their passions and create original rock music by taking a polysemic approach, leaving the listener with more than one meaning to mull over.

We had an opportunity to talk with them in brief about their beginnings, their forward movement and about their latest track “She Don’t Mean To“.

IPM: Congratulations on your latest release, “She Don’t Mean To“. Tell us about the songs, the production, the recording process.

• Thank you so much and thank you for having us!

• At the time when the band wrote the song we were in a little classic rock phase listening to “The Doors” “Santana” and many more amazing classic rock bands. We loved their unique Sounds and songs like “LA Woman”, “Riders On The Storm” and “Oye Como Va” especially. So when we all got together in Marks garage studio we wanted to make something that was simple with a clear message and a solid groove. We also added the chorus to give the song that classic familiar sound that really catches the listeners ears.

IPM: Who are your biggest influences? Who are you listening to these days?

• “Pink Floyd” is probably the biggest influence to Three Sides but some other great bands that influence us and we listen to all the time are ”The Strokes”, “Red Hot Chili Peppers”, “The Talking Heads” and many more great artists.

IPM: Beyond “She Don ‘t Mean To, “ what else does Three Sides have planned for music lovers in 2020?

• We plan on getting one song if not two more songs out by the end of 2020 but stay tuned for more! !

IPM: What would your advice be to someone wanting to pursue music?

• DO IT!! If you know you. Can do the job don’t think of a plan B, focus on that dream you hold so dear to yourself and go make it happen, YOU GOT THIS!

IPM: Tell us your goals / hopes / dreams / fears for your music?

• Goals are to play many shows all over the world and meet many great people and fans, Hopes our music can help all people everywhere get through whatever hardships or pain they might be going through in this crazy world we live :i19L Dreams to play on the biggest stages in front of the biggest crowds but help make the biggest impact for Our fans with Our music, Fears will always be present to us and to everybody. But if you continue to live in fear you will continue to not move forward towards your dreams.
