DateMonthYear “The Exodus Suite Part 3”

CINEMATIC ROCK SAGA It’s A Musical Franchise that stands up with the great cinematic ones. It’s the unique alt pop rock sound that stands alone far from the usual lick that is out there, hailing from just West of Down Under…. Date Month Year~

DateMonthYear, the eclectic and forward-thinking music experience from Hamilton, New  Zealand, is proud to announce the release of the third stage in an ongoing series of  work, called “The  Exodus Suite”

‘The Exodus Suite’ is a collection of five Soundscapes/ Ambient music pieces with attendant video interpretations. The music has been written and produced by DateMonthYear founder and mainstay Trevor Faville, mixed in America by Martin Porter,  and mastered back in Hamilton, New Zealand by Andi Verse. Faville explains” the Exodus Suite is proving to a very rewarding creative experience not only in making Soundscape/Ambient/ Electronic music but in the process of  allowing directors’ creative freedom to interpret as they wish”

The Third installment is called ‘Commission1’ and is directed by Elysia Koretz. It is a video-only release and is live on the DateMonthYear YouTube channel right now. At this link.

‘Commission1’ is directed by longtime DateMonthYear associate Elysia Kortez, who directed the video for our previous work ‘River’. She explains “The fast pace of this track inspired me to match this with visual urgency. I used this influence in hand with a very freestyle approach – going with what came to me as I captured the narrative.”
