For Pamela Hopkins and Matt Dame, It’s Those “Little Things” That Matter

It has never been hard to tell if a musician was once smitten, is hopelessly smitten or wishes to be smitten in the future. It’s always in the words they sing, how they sing it, and with whom they sing it. And if this theory is anything to go by, then Pamela Hopkins is definitely feeling lovey-dovey and has decided to let the world know so.

Pamela Hopkins is a multitalented artist from Little Rock, Arkansas. She is a gifted singer and an impeccable songwriter who plays several instruments with skill and ease. In her own words “I’ve had a passion for music since I was a young girl, singing, playing cello and piano.” Her latest song which is a duet with Matt Dame is a certified lovers’ ballad that one gets the feeling, has specifically been made for this month of love.

Starting off with a sweet, mellow melody that feels like nothing but love, no mistake can be made about the song’s intentions. The song is captivating right from the start as Matt and Pamela take turns gushing about their lovers’ attributes that make them feel special and loved. Matt kicks of saying “You know when to get close and when to stay away” to which Pamela follows “You know how to bring the sun to my darkest days.” A key characteristic of true love, these initial words express how they look out for each other during hard times.

Pamela farther professes how her lover knows exactly what turns her on “Like the way you call me baby, and hold me all night long” and “the way you dance with me and lead me down the hall.” The song’s catchy chorus finds both artists singing together how “It’s those little things that make my heart melt, everything that you won’t find in a fairy tale.” It’s a pleasure to listen to just how well their two voices seamlessly blend into each other to create a beautiful harmony that tugs at the strings of your heart if you know what love is.

There is no doubt that Pamela and Matt were on the same wavelength when they came together to create this wonderful, amorous song. They both did a fantastic job as far as their lyrics, vocals and delivery is concerned to give the world a sweet ballad to dance to and profess their love with this Valentine’s. Little Things is definitely going to be the soundtrack of several love confessions that will be made lying down at midnight under the stars this season of love. And with such a soulful instrumental to back it up, Little Things will be in our hearts and lips for a long while to come.
