The electronic music label ISLA Records from Santiago, Chile released a new chill house and ambient three-track EP from the psychedelic house duo, IIOI, titled “blu.” The duo consists of Gio Foschino and Nico Alvarado. The tracks are titled “blu i,” “blu o” and “blu iii” and are mixed by synth-pop artist Carlos Doeer and Alvarado, with cover art by Foschino.
IIOI’s EP is an experimental collection of deep sounding beats and mixed atmospheric tracks. Their first public appearance in the electronic arts industry was back in May 2012 when they released their first single “Andes” through TV Noise Records. Two years later and 5 more EP’s dropped, IIOII took time to create “blu.”
