ABOUT TIFFANY YOUNG AND “OVER MY SKIN”:

Born in Los Angeles, Young packed her bags and traveled to Seoul, Korea alone at the age of 15, where she would train to be in one of the best-selling female K-Pop groups in Korea. Iconic in their genre, Girls’ Generation have 16 No. 1 singles, 1.8 billion YouTube views, 120 awards from various organizations, and 15 released albums. After world tours, millions of records sold and a decade as the de facto leader of that group, Tiffany is now ready to take on the world as a solo artist.

Co-written by Tiffany“Over My Skin” is filled with self awareness and embracing one’s femininity, featuring the classic pop vibe with a hint of ‘90s R&B elements that Tiffanytalked about. She explains, “It is me all the way.”
The song is semi auto-biographical and about a young woman transitioning to the next phase of her life, letting herself be more emotionally naked for the first time.

“I feel liberated, like I’m finally stepping into my own superpowers!” says Tiffany”It’s about doing my life my way and not for anyone else.  When you first hear the song, you can say, oh that is about sex, but listen again, it is really deeper than that.  It is about being a woman in this world at this time. My favorite line is ‘do nasty things and you don’t judge me’ because I think every woman feels that way and there is nothing wrong with it,” she proudly states.

Tiffany partnered with East-West entertainment company, Transparent Artsheaded by the Far East Movement (the first Asian American group to hit #1 on the Billboard Charts) and Jon Yip of the Grammy award winning production team The Stereotypes  (Two Grammys in 2018 for Bruno Mars, “That’s What I Like”) to present her new sound and vision to the world.

Tiffany enjoys a large fandom generated from years of being in Girls’ Generation, that has now translated into over 6 million followers on Instagram.
