Pop phenomena, Tiffany Young, announces the release of her Christmas single “Peppermint,” out today.Tiffany took her love for all things Christmas and transformed that into a gift for her fans with this release. “It’s a sweet & cool Christmas track for everyone who wants to chill, relax, stay in & curl up by the fireplace,” she states. Idolatorcalls it “as addictive as the sugary title implies.”
With lyrics like “…red green red green, you been waiting to unwrap me wrap me. In your arms is where I’m happy happy, underneath these lights…”,Tiffany describes “Peppermint” as “a little bit of both naughty & nice for the holiday.”
“I wanted it to be more laid-back and relaxed compared to all of the other productions that I’ve done. I really focused on the tone of my voice, and I put in some Korean so that all of my fans could feel connected” she tells MTV News
Tiffany has no plan on stopping this momentum any time soon; with her EP slated for release early next year and eight-date 2019 “Lips On Lips” North American Mini Showcase Tour. Kicking off March 3, 2019; Tiffany will be bringing her charismatic performances and smooth vocals to the states where she will be performing her highly talked about singles “Teach You” and “Over My Skin.” Cosmopolitan describes her sound as “catchy choruses, an irresistible dance-ready beat laid with synths that sound futuristic and vintage at the same time, every lyric oozing with feeling, and of course fun theatrics.
